10th Annual Drum Festival
Venue:Tivoli Hard CourtDate: Sat 6th to 8th May 2011
Krumahville comes alive on May 6th with the heavy vibrations of African inspired drum moonlighting, dancing, rituals and Grenadian cuisine!
The Grenada Drum Festival has its home in the village of Tivoli in the Parish of St. Andrew. Established in 2003, the Festival has grown from a relatively small rural event into a highly anticipated national festival. The Tivoli Drummers have gained international recognition for their particularly Grenadian choreographed drumming style that infuses both traditional and modern dance into the music. The Festival takes place over two days every May at ‘Moonlight City’ in the village of La Poterie, St. Andrew.
This year’s Festival includes the school drum corps, live bands, special groups from throughout the Caribbean region and much more!
